Montana Adventures and Angling has access to world-class bird hunting throughout Montana. These areas include, a privately owned ranch in southeastern Montana and the entire Blackfeet Reservation in northern Montana.

Northern Montana
Blackfeet Reservation

The 1.5 million acres of the Blackfeet Reservation is home to hundreds of thousands of both upland birds and waterfowl. In the higher elevations among the timbered areas, species of Mountain Grouse, such as the Blue Grouse, Franklin Grouse, and Ruffle Grouse are abundant. In the lower altitudes of the reservation birds such as, Pheasant, Hungarian Partridge, and Sharptail Grouse inhabit the beginning of the Great Plains. This area is covered with cultivated and non-cultivated CRP fields, wheat fields, and brushy drainages that provide the perfect habitats for all game birds.

The Blackfeet Reservation is the perfect place to hunt waterfowl. Lying in the middle of the Pacific Flyway it has hundreds of lakes, ponds, and creeks that these migratory birds can call home.

Again, not just any guide can guide on the Blackfeet Reservation. In order to be guided to these areas on the Blackfeet Reservation, one needs an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Tribe to guide them. Montana Adventures and Angling has several world class Blackfeet guides to accommodate all levels of hunters.

Deep Creek Ranch

Montana Adventures and Angling acts as a booking agent to the famous Deep Creek Ranch. This luscious piece of land is located on the Crow Indian Reservation, 35 miles south of Billings. The Little Bighorn Battle field, Yellowstone National Park, the Bozeman Trail, and Lewis and Clark country are all near by. The 3000 acres of quality stubble fields and creek bottoms can make for an incredible hunting experience.
